MotoGP Italian GP Mugello KTM Race – Third and fifth position for Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder in the last Italian Grand Prix, sixth round of the 2021 MotoGP world championship. The Portuguese from KTM, after yesterday's excellent qualifying, managed to confirm himself in the top positions of the ranking, making up for a start to the season full of lows. South African Binder also did well, back in the top 5 after his excellent performance at Le Mans. Important points that help KTM to get back up in the manufacturers' world championship ranking.

“I'm happy with the fifth place finish, even if after Friday's free practice I expected something more. The race was crazy. On the alignment lap I almost lost the front and this led me to run the first part of the race with caution. I tried to understand the track conditions before pushing 100%. Marc touched me on the first lap and unfortunately my airbag deployed. For almost a lap I wasn't able to move well on the bike. Subsequently the problem was resolved and I was able to do my race. In any case, I am satisfied with the top five and we will try to maintain this momentum in the next races too."

“In general I would say that we ran a good race and an excellent weekend. The pace in the race was satisfactory, probably one of the fastest, and we return home with a considerable haul of points. At the beginning I wasn't confident enough with the front tire, but then I managed to set my pace. Keeping Mir behind wasn't easy, but in the end we took home an excellent second place. We are happy, of course, but our thoughts go out to Jason's family."
