MotoGP | Mugello GP Day 1: Maverick Vinales, “The bike is very difficult” [VIDEO]

MotoGP Gp Italia Monster Yamaha Day 1 – Maverick Vinales closed the first day of free practice for the Mugello Grand Prix, sixth stage of the 2019 MotoGP, with the fifth fastest time.

After a difficult first session, the Yamaha Spaniard managed to find something in the Tuscan afternoon that allowed him to enter the top ten.

These are the words of Maverick Vinales: “In the afternoon I improved my riding. Only by riding better and trying to stay low on the bike I managed to improve a lot, but the bike is still very difficult, it's nervous. I couldn't drive really well. We need to keep working and try to be at our best tomorrow. I'm fighting everywhere, so we need to improve and work if we want to fight for the race. Getting a first or second row for tomorrow will be very important. It's such a long race, so you need to start at the front.”
