MotoGP | Gp Misano Test: Valentino Rossi, “Overall it was a good test”

MotoGP Gp Misano Yamaha MotoGP Race – Valentino Rossi closed the day of testing in Misano with the 17th fastest time.

The Pesaro driver completed 45 laps during the day, recording his best performance on the 42nd lap. #46 tried several updates on the M1 during the day. Rossi took to the track with a new frame, which was rejected, and a new swingarm which was promoted but more tests will need to be done. Also tried a longer exhaust (photo) which should have served to recover some top speed, but it doesn't seem to have given the desired results.

“We did a lot of work today, I did a lot of laps, because we had a lot of different things to try. The test wasn't that bad. We worked on the bike. As always, of all the things we tried, some were an improvement, some were not. But overall it was a good try. We found something positive, so we will try to be stronger for next weekend.”
