GP Misano Ducati MotoGP 2022 – Ducati achieved a beautiful one-two yesterday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, a battle between Bastianini and Bagnaia which ended with the victory of the latter, who is now -30 behind Quartararo in the world standings.

Bastianini (Gresini Racing rider) tried in every way to win and even came close to a collision with Pecco. Claudio Domenicali, CEO of the Borgo Panigale "Red", did not like the maneuver.

Statements Claudio Domenicali Duel Bastianini Vs Bagnaia GP Misano MotoGP 2022

“When two riders don't work well together, I'm half happy. We have spoken to all our riders, they know not to be too aggressive with each other. Enea performed well, but on the last lap she could have saved herself from braking: she risked too much, we don't like it. I know it's part of the nature of the drivers, but there are 150 people who work behind them, there is a company, we have to try to work for the team, otherwise we are criticized because we don't win the Drivers' World Championship: on the track let the better, but without doing anything stupid.”

Here at Ducati they're starting to bust their asses even before their time. The usual packaging!!! You will understand (maybe) about motorbikes but people absolutely don't!!!

Hi everyone. Everyone is free to see it as they see fit, but I agree with Domenicali. Do you want to try to win? That's fine, you have every right, but that maneuver was too extreme, a few more centimeters and not only would he have fallen, but it would have made Bagnaia fall too.
And to think that in a statement from Bastianini, I almost understood that, if in the right conditions, he would have helped Bagnaia. Never mind, I misunderstood and it's true that a young man wants to win, but such extreme maneuvers shouldn't be done.
To conclude, it's fine to fight, it's the "gravy" of MotoGP, but be clear about what you're doing. I don't think that closing the artery that pumps blood to the brain with one lap to go, with the positions now acquired, against a friend, with the ranking that would not have changed (for Bastianini), is the wisest decision to make. Luckily, according to him, he came to his senses just enough to make him desist from the last assault on the last corner.
At least that's how I see it.

    Great Bagnaia
    Great Bastianini
    Great Ducati
