MotoGP | GP Misano 2 Day 1: Marquez, “We need to understand what's happening”

MotoGP 2021 Misano GP Nolan of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Honda Repsol 2021 – Marc Marquez ended the first day of free practice at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, sixteenth stage of the 2021 MotoGP, with the 14th time.

The Honda rider recorded the second best time in the wet conditions of FP1, around a second and 4 from the top, while in the afternoon, in a constantly changing situation, he finished in 14th position.

“The day started quite well and in the morning we had good speed, in the afternoon the session was a little more complicated. I wasn't able to find the perfect lap in the afternoon, but even so it seems that our level in the wet is not as high as it normally is. I don't think our real position is 14th in the wet but we need to understand more what's happening. It was important to take advantage of today because the forecast for tomorrow and also for Sunday remains uncertain."
