“I almost didn't get into the top ten. We have to see the positives even if we are not in Q2 for now. I needed to ride in the wet because I haven't yet mastered the bike with rain tires. This morning I was almost happy that it was raining. I tried not to do like last time and lie down straight away. Today I tried to push harder, the track was drier but there were several wet spots and it wasn't easy. With the medium tire we were quite fast and by 40 thousandths we were not in Q2. Let's see what FP3 will be like tomorrow, but if it rains it will be difficult to improve, we'll see. The top ten in qualifying is our target, but in the wet we still have to work on it.”
