French GP Repsol Honda Team – Marc Marquez closed qualifying for the French Grand Prix, seventh stage of the 2022 MotoGP, with the tenth fastest time.

The Spaniard, victim of a crash in FP4, was unable to complete a good lap in qualifying, but his pace for the race currently puts him in the fight for the top 7.

Marc Marquez Statements 2022 Le Mans MotoGP Qualifying

“This morning the feeling and pace weren't bad, we also did a good lap, ok I followed Quartararo but I felt good and found a good speed. In the afternoon with the hottest conditions, from FP4 I didn't feel as good as before with the bike and I was looking for the best way to ride but I crashed. I went out in qualifying on new tires and was quite confident, but the speed just wasn't there, nor the feeling. We need to understand why. Normally I can adapt better to the conditions, but today I couldn't find the way. But when you look at the table, our pace is not that far away and I think we can fight in the second group."
