MotoGP | Gp Le Mans Qualifying: Fabio Quartararo, “I wanted pole”[VIDEO]

MotoGP French GP Yamaha MotoGP Qualifying – Fabio Quartararo took pole in the French Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2020 MotoGP.

After a subdued first day, the French driver managed to be fast right from the first free practice session on the Saturday of his home GP. In qualifying no one was able to keep up with him and given the pace shown in FP4 if he were to make the most of the start from first place it could be difficult to keep up with him

“It's nice to be on pole position again, and even more so in France. I feel great on the bike and qualifying was also fantastic. The first release was really good. At that point I knew I really wanted pole position today. It's my second pole position at Le Mans, so I'm really happy. The focus now is on the first laps of the race, we want to stay ahead of the others and then see how the pace is. If we do that, I think we can have a really good race. The team did a really fantastic job with the bike and we'll see what we can do tomorrow.”
