MotoGP French GP MotoGP Suzuki Ecstar – A quiet start for Joan Mir in the first two free practice sessions valid for the French Grand Prix, the ninth round of this 2020 MotoGP world championship.

Due to the difficult weather conditions at Le Mans, with cold and rain characterizing the entire day, the Suzuki Spaniard limited himself to collecting data on tires and set-up, postponing a possible "time attack" until tomorrow with soft rubber and low fuel. A choice that aims to avoid an inconvenience which, in the worst case scenario, would ruin the Iberian's bid for Fabio Quartararo's world leadership.

Statements Joan Mir GP Le Mans MotoGP

“Today was a difficult day due to the conditions, but in general I am quite satisfied with the feeling. The track was constantly changing between dry and wet, so it was difficult to find the right set-up. At the moment I'm just looking for the optimal feeling, although tomorrow I want to concentrate the work on the front of the bike. We hope to take another step forward, so as to improve the lap times before qualifying."
