MotoGP | GP Jerez Test: Morbidelli, “We have made progress”
Excellent sixth time for the VR46 Riders Academy rider
MotoGP GP Spain Marc VdS Test – Franco Morbidelli, after the excellent race held yesterday in Jerez de la Frontera, where he crossed the finish line in ninth position, took to the track today on the Andalusian circuit for a day of testing.
The Team Marc VDS driver completed 66 laps, the best on the penultimate lap, with a time of 1'38.288. At the end of the day he said he was satisfied, he had the say.
“Today was a positive test, we tried some changes to the bike that we didn't have time to test during the race weekend and the results were good – said Franco Morbidelli – We worked with used tires on the rear suspension to improve grip and we have made some progress. It was a good test where I managed to work well with my team and now I can't wait for the next Le Mans race.”
