GP Spain Jerez MotoGP 2023 Ducati – Francesco Bagnaia finished the Sprint Race of the Spanish Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2023 MotoGP, in second position.

An important result for Bagnaia and his team who, after an uphill start, were able to turn around what had been a rather complicated weekend until then. After gaining access to Q2 by setting the best time in Q1, Pecco had to face a second qualifying session disturbed by rain in some parts of the track. Despite this, the driver from Chivasso managed to set a good fifth time, getting the start from the second row for both this afternoon's Sprint race and tomorrow's Grand Prix.

“I'm really happy with my race today. During the night my team really did an incredible job to try to put me in a position to have a good qualifying. At the beginning I struggled to adapt to the bike, but after the second outing in Q1 I felt really comfortable and in the race I just tried to be fast. It wasn't easy: the third sector is still my weak point, but I'm sure that by tomorrow we will resolve this aspect too."
