MotoGP GP Spain Race – The Spanish Grand Prix recently ended with the victory of Marc Marquez, but images that are somewhere between comical and ridiculous arrive from the Jerez track.

The race has just finished and Alex Rins goes under his grandstand to celebrate an excellent second place, but at that moment what you don't expect happens. A track marshal from the Spanish track goes to hold the motorbike, but quickly reaches out and takes one of the sponges that are used to cover the small oil tanks on the handlebars. Unfortunately for the Marshal however, the cameras on the motorbikes are always on and therefore his clever move was filmed from all perspectives. The value of the stolen object is very low, it is probably a souvenir, but taking it away from a driver while he is celebrating is not exactly nice. Very often riders care particularly about the small objects they carry with them on their motorbikes and often bring them with them from other categories.

We hope that the track commissioner has retraced his steps and returned the stolen goods, but, honestly, we hope not to see him on the track again.
