MotoGP GP Spain LCR Honda – Eighth and ninth positions for Cal Crutchlow and Takaaki Nakagami in the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of this 2019 MotoGP world championship. The standard bearers of the LCR Honda team managed to finish this weekend in Andalusia inside the top ten, giving Lucio Cecchinello's team important points for what concerns the ranking reserved for independent brands.

It should be noted that both drivers conducted a linear race, free of errors and mistakes. A high-level performance that closed in the best possible way a weekend that should be considered absolutely positive, especially in terms of performance.

“At the end of the race the pace was good and I was running in low 38”, Takaaki Nakagami said. “On the last lap I went really fast but by then it was too late. The first lap also went better than many others, but then we lose aggression and therefore positions. It's an aspect we need to work on for the next races. Ninth place is a good result, but I always expect a little more."

Here are Cal Crutchlow's assessments: “To be honest I never found the right feeling this weekend but if I had perhaps the hard tire would have been the right choice. This morning I was very fast with that tire but I didn't feel ready to use it in the race so I chose the medium. And it was the wrong choice… that's all. I did my best to finish the race and bring home important points for the classification."
