MotoGP KTM Tech3 – Rookie Pedro Acosta finished the Jerez Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2024 MotoGP, in tenth position.

After destroying a bike during practice, Acosta had to adapt to a bike with different components for the race. Despite a difficult start and a contact with Johann Zarco, he managed to recover positions during the race. Looking on the bright side, he underlined the importance of drawing lessons from the day, gaining experience and aiming to avoid the mistakes made in qualifying. Despite the challenges encountered, Acosta ended the day on a note of satisfaction with the outcome

“It's never easy to destroy a bike in the morning and then race on another bike with different clutches or other parts. However, considering the events of the morning, we managed to save the result after a bad start in the race. The contact with Johann Zarco is what happens when you start from the middle of the grid, so we know that we have to qualify well and avoid the mistakes made yesterday. Then we recovered quite well in the race, we learned a lot today, I gained experience, so we must be happy with today."
