MotoGP | GP Jerez Press Conference: Bagnaia, “We are ready to win”

MotoGP GP Spain Jerez Press Conference – Francesco Bagnaia was one of the protagonists of the press conference for the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth race of the 2021 MotoGP.

The Ducati rider, currently second in the Championship behind Fabio Quartararo, can't wait to race at Jerez, a track where last year he achieved a seventh place and a DNF while riding in the top positions in the two races held on the track entitled to Angel Nieto. Here's what he said "Pecco".

“I'm very confident, we are ready to win, even if the Yamaha is very fast. I feel good on all fronts, bike and team. Last year I was competitive here but I had bad luck with engine problems. I think it could be a good weekend for us, we can stay in the top 3. I saw Ben Spies' tweets and it's always nice to see former riders talking about you. Already last year I tried to ride the Ducati differently and I think I understood how to do it. Already in the pre-season tests I made progress, I also found greater confidence in myself. In Qatar I understood how to manage the tyres, in the second race I made a mistake, but in Portimao I managed the bike better. If you push the bike it turns well, it's strange but that's how it actually works for our bike.”
