MotoGP GP Jerez – After the very long break caused by the Coronavirus, the MotoGP is ready to return to the track, next stop Jerez for the Spanish Grand Prix.

After the false start in Qatar, with only Moto2 and Moto3 on the track, MotoGP is ready to officially debut in 2020. The riders of the premier class, who have not been on their bikes since the tests in Qatar in February, will have the Andalusian circuit for two rounds of testing. MotoGP will alternate on the track with all the other categories.

The return to the track also means fighting for the title and never before have the values on the field been as uncertain as this year. The initial difference will certainly be the physical preparation and in this respect the one who will start the most disadvantaged will certainly be Andrea Dovizioso, fresh from shoulder surgery after the fall on the motocross bike. In Honda the situation should be calmer with Marc Marquez now at 100% after shoulder surgery this winter, the big unknown in the golden wing's garage will be the psychological aspect. During the quarantine, Pol Espargarò's move to the Repsol team was taken for granted to the detriment of the younger Marquez, who had not yet starred in a race, while the #93 signed a 4-year contract. The official announcement has not yet been made, but the climate inside the Honda garage may not be the best. There should be better air in Yamaha, Vinales, at least from what is shown via social media, seems to be in great shape, while Valentino Rossi is about to announce the continuation of his career for another two years with the Petronas team. Remaining in the Iwata garage there are huge expectations around Fabio Quartararo who this season will have the chance to prove himself as the anti-Marquez without the pressure of an official team. Outsiders, but not for this reason to be underestimated, the two standard bearers of Suzuki, ready to do battle and above all confirm to the parent company that the efforts made so far have not been in vain.

It's been a long break, but we're finally back on track.
