GP India MotoGP 2023 Repsol Honda – Marc Marquez finished the Indian Grand Prix, thirteenth stage of the 2023 Motorcycle World Championship, in ninth position.

The Spanish driver fought with the leading riders in the early stages of the race, even managing to threaten third position. While he was fighting with Bagnaia, the eight-time world champion slipped but managed to restart and recover several positions.

Marc Marquez Statements India MotoGP Race 2023

“If you only looked at the final result and saw ninth place you wouldn't know the whole story of our race, but to get what could be considered our 'normal' result after a crash is positive. It was a really small crash, but I was pushing really hard to stay in the slipstream of the bikes in front, I went a little wide and fell. I came into this race motivated by the Sprint podium, so when I saw Pecco and Martin make a mistake I decided I had to push. This led to the error. The most important thing was to finish the race, overall our pace was very close to Quartararo's so I think we can be satisfied overall with what we did this weekend."
