MotoGP | Japanese GP Preview: Pedrosa, “On this track I rejoiced and suffered”

MotoGP Gp Motegi Repsol Honda Preview – Dani Pedrosa, after crashing during the Thailand GP, seeks redemption at Motegi, where the Japanese Grand Prix, sixteenth stage of the 2018 MotoGP World Championship, will take place on Sunday.

On the Buriram track the Spaniard seemed to be competitive again. The problems with the feeling with the bike have been partly resolved and the Twin Ring Motegi, where he won 5 times in his career, could be the right track to return to the 'spotlight'.

What worries the driver from Sabadell are the tyres. Last year, in the downpour, he was forced to retire because the tires weren't up to temperature. For Sunday the forecast doesn't call for rain so hope is the last to die.

So we have to wait and see, but of course I hope that this year can be good and we hope to be able to continue with the progress that we have made in the last few races, in terms of pace and bike setup. The Japanese fans have always given us a warm welcome and great enthusiasm, and I can't wait to get out on track.”
