MotoGP GP Germany Suzuki – Superb second row for Alex Rins in qualifying for the German Grand Prix, ninth round of this 2019 MotoGP world championship.

The Spaniard from the Suzuki team, after yesterday's excellent free practice, managed to reach his goal for Q2 this afternoon, gaining an extremely important fourth position from a race perspective. Joan Mir also did well, even if the Iberian didn't go beyond ninth position.

“During my last lap I had a moment of fear, but I knew I had a fast time and so I had to save the bike with my elbow,” said Alex Rins. “We managed to finish in the second row, which is our goal. Tomorrow I will try to make a good start, as our pace is quite strong."

Here are Joan Mir's assessments: “I'm happy, but honestly I expected something more, given that my pace in FP4 was quite good. I thought that with the soft tire I would have done better. We start tomorrow's race on the third row and I'm happy with this. We will try to do our best in the last round before the summer break."
