MotoGP | Barcelona GP Qualifying: Fabio Quartararo, “The lap wasn't perfect”
"Happy to see the fans back on the circuit" added the Frenchman
MotoGP GP Catalunya Barcelona Monster Yamaha 2021 – Fabio Quartararo ended qualifying for the Catalan Grand Prix, seventh stage of the 2021 MotoGP, in pole position.
The Frenchman from Yamaha won his fifth pole of the season out of seven races and given the pace shown during the fourth free practice session it is clear to everyone that he will be the rider to beat, but if he manages to take the advantage from the first corner there is expect a solo race.

“Qualifying was fantastic! I had a great first run, but actually my best lap wasn't perfect. I thought I could improve a little more. In the second outing, I had prepared the rear tire very well, but then I was driving under the yellow flags in sector 3. However, the most important thing is that we are on the front row on pole. I'm so happy to see the fans back on the circuit. I think this gives everyone a boost. Thanks to the team, and thanks to everyone, and let's enjoy the race tomorrow.”
