MotoGP | Barcelona GP Race: Pol Espargarò, “The fall was my fault”

MotoGP Catalan GP KTM Factory MotoGP Race – Double fall for the KTM team on the Barcelona track, scene of the tenth round of this 2020 MotoGP world championship. Despite the excellent work carried out over the weekend, the Austrian team's standard bearers were unable to realize the potential of the RC16, an aspect which in fact made the weekend in Spain extremely disappointing. “I'm disappointed, because with the front tire I couldn't push in the left corners. I fought a lot with Petrucci, even though I knew I was faster than him. I entered the corner too quickly and this led me to lose the front. It's all my fault, since I tried so hard. I can't wait to get to Le Mans and redeem myself. It was my home Grand Prix and I didn't get what I expected."

“It's sad to finish the race like this. We had very challenging conditions and we expected to be competitive. We used the medium tire on the front for this very reason. The temperature in the race was quite low and one lap of cold tires was enough to make me crash. It's a shame, even if this is racing. I hope we can get back to the top at Le Mans. I want to do well there, also for the championship."
