MotoGP GP Austria Ducati Qualifying – Marc Marquez ruined the party at Ducati, which since Friday had hoped not to have to 'suffer' too much.

Instead, in the qualifying session of the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh stage of the 2018 MotoGP, the Spaniard took pole ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo. With Danilo Petrucci completing an all-Red hat-trick in the top four positions.

The general director of Ducati Corse, Gigi Dall'Igna, commented on the qualification of 'his' bikes to Sky: “Okay, we lost pole by two thousandths but we have three bikes in the top four positions, so we are happy. The race tomorrow will certainly be long, with the tire issue in the foreground and we'll see how we get there in the final laps. Marquez is Marquez, we know... he's probably the fittest rider, we're there with him and this is a good sign. The tires that Dovizioso will use in the race? He qualified with the Medium, I doubt he will race with the Soft”.
