MotoGP | Austrian GP FP4: Vinales mocks Dovizioso and Marquez
In the final, the top three on new tires battled it out
MotoGP GP Austria Red Bull Ring Free Practice 4 – Maverick Vinales wins the fourth and final free practice session of the Austrian Grand Prix, eleventh stage of the 2019 Motorcycle World Championship.
The Spaniard stopped the clock at 1:23.983, preceding Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez by just 14 thousandths.
Fourth time for Fabio Quartararo who precedes a surprising Pol Espargarò on KTM and Jack Miller.
A few more difficulties for Danilo Petrucci who didn't go beyond seventh position ahead of the Suzuki of Alex Rins and the excellent Miguel Oliveira on the KTM of the Tech3 team. Franco Morbidelli completes the top ten.
Francesco Bagnaia is out of the ten and finishes eleventh ahead of Andrea Iannone. Valentino Rossi only 16th but should have played the entire session with the same set of tyres.
