MotoGP GP Austin Esponsorama Avintia – Super comeback by Enea Bastianini in the Austin Grand Prix. The driver of the Esponsorama Avintia team, 16th at the start, managed to recover up to sixth position (also thanks to the contact between Mir and Miller for which the Spaniard received a penalty of one position in the standings, ed.).

Statements Enea Bastianini, GP Austin Race

“I'm very happy with the race because qualifying didn't give us credit but we had the wrong strategy. In the race we immediately set the right path, in the warm up I saw that the bike had improved a lot and in fact it allowed me to finish sixth, starting sixteenth. We recovered well, we did a great job. I waited for their mistake, in the end I passed them at 15, Mir tried to overtake me but went long. I didn't expect sixth place, it's certainly a good omen for next year, we're creating the foundations."
