MotoGP Dutch GP – A few days ago, June 25th to be precise, Valentino Rossi "celebrated" the unpleasant anniversary of two years without a victory.

The last success of the Pesaro native, in fact, dates back to the Dutch GP in 2017 and from that moment, although he came close to it on several occasions, he was no longer able to climb to the top step of the podium. The 'Doctor's' lack of victories also coincided with the longest drought in the history of Yamaha, which after that triumph only returned to success at last year's Australian Grand Prix with Maverick Vinales.

These are Valentino Rossi's statements on the eve of the Dutch GP

“Unfortunately it's been a long time since my last victory. I love this track, it's a special weekend and the atmosphere is always incredible. There are always great battles for one reason or another. The goal is to start working from where we finished in Barcelona. In testing on Monday, we tried new things, both for now and for the future, but my bike will be very similar to the one I've used so far. 35 races without winning? Let's say that the drought is mine alone, because Yamaha hasn't won many races. More than winning, we need to think about a good weekend, working well both in free practice and in qualifying. We arrive after two zeros obtained in two tracks where we hoped to do more."
