MotoGP | GP Assen: Quartararo, “This year we have both speed and consistency”

MotoGP GP Netherlands Assen Yamaha Monster 2021 – Fabio Quartararo, after finishing the German GP in third position, is ready for the Dutch GP, ninth stage of the 2021 MotoGP.

The Frenchman, world leader, secured a second place on the Dutch track in his debut year in Moto3 (2015). He equaled the result in the Moto2 class in 2018 and finished with a third place in the MotoGP class the following year. Due to the global pandemic, he hasn't had the opportunity to improve on this premier class performance until now, making him even more excited for the next round.

“In MotoGP you need speed and consistency, and this year we have both. Third place at the Sachsenring was positive, considering we were struggling a bit that weekend. Getting on the podium after a 'bad weekend' makes us feel even more positive about the future. This weekend we will race at the TT Circuit Assen, which is one of my favorite circuits, and suits the Yamaha well. I wish it were Friday already!”
