Ducati Sky VR46 Avintia GP Assen MotoGP 2021 – Luca Marini closed the Dutch Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2021 MotoGP, in 18th position.
Starting from the 17th spot on the grid, the Sky VR46 Avintia driver struggled from the first laps to keep up with the pace of the group with today's grip conditions and ended the weekend outside the points zone.

“I really struggled today: after free practice I chose the M tire for the race, I felt confident, but with less grip it was perhaps not the best choice. Like the other Ducatis, I had a lot of movement on the bike during acceleration that I had to manage. A shame and an aspect to work on for the next races. In FP4 I wasn't comfortable with the H while with the M I was able to ride as I wanted. Today with more wind everything was more difficult. Let's enjoy a few days of relaxation and get back to work for Austria. I can't wait."
