GP Assen Mooney VR46 Racing Team MotoGP 2022 – Luca Marini closed the first day of free practice for the Assen Grand Prix, the eleventh stage of the 2022 MotoGP, with the 13th time.
Working to better understand the very particular conditions of the track and not far from the Top10, Luca finished FP24 1th (1'45.392 ed.) and in 13th place under the checkered flag thanks to a best lap of 1'34.536 on the day.

“It was a bit of a complicated day, I've never been really fast but we collected a lot of data, both on dry and wet surfaces, to better face tomorrow's sessions and be ready for any eventuality. The objective is certainly to try to get into Q2 in FP3, hopefully in a session with a dry track, and then take a final step forward for qualifying.”
