MotoGP Dutch GP – After the race in Germany, the MotoGP is ready to return to the track: next stop Assen, for the Dutch Grand Prix, eleventh stop of the 2022 MotoGP.

Until Sunday morning everything seemed ready at the Sachsenring to celebrate an extraordinary victory for Pecco Bagnaia, but the race was something completely different. Fabio Quartararo triumphed "easily" and increased his lead over his pursuers. So far the French rider seems to be in incredible form, even when things don't go his way he's always there ready to fight for big points. Points left in the gravel by the Italian driver. The Assen GP could be an important turning point. Afterwards there will be the very long summer break and getting there safely will be important. Just as it will be important to recover points. Among those in pursuit who will have to do well at Assen, however, we must also add Aleix Espargarò and Enea Bastianini, "forced" to recover to remain in the fight for the title.

The Assen circuit measures 4.5 km and has 6 left-hand corners and 12 right-hand corners. The track is a milestone of the MotoGP, even if compared to its first edition, which was run on roads open to traffic, over the years it has changed face several times, losing the characteristic points that earned it the name of Motorcycle University. On this track, among active riders, the record for victories in the premier class belongs to Valentino Rossi, at 7.
