MotoGP Argentine GP Yamaha MotoGP – Valentino Rossi, fresh from fifth place in the inaugural race of the 2019 MotoGP held in Qatar, hopes to improve his "score" in the next Argentine Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday 31 March when it will be 20 pm in Italy.

The Yamaha rider from Pesaro last year only finished nineteenth on the Termas de Rio Hondo track due to a contact with Marc Marquez.

In 2017 he came second behind team-mate Maverick Vinales, in 2016 he achieved the same result behind Marc Marquez, while in 2015 he won the race ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow.

This year he hopes to be able to fight for the podium again, even if at the moment Ducati and Honda seem superior. The word is up to him.

“I liked the race in Qatar, but now we focus on Argentina. First of all, we hope to have good track conditions this weekend, because it is always fundamental. Secondly, we hope there will be good weather this year – said Valentino Rossi – Last year's race was incredibly difficult, run on a semi-wet and half-dry surface. It was very difficult to ride the bike on slicks in wet areas. Let's hope we don't have to repeat it and we'll see if we're strong. I will do my best to fight for the podium.”
