MotoGP | GP Argentina Qualifying: Quartararo, “I did my best, but Miller was almost on the line”

GP Argentina Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP 2022 – Fabio Quartararo finished qualifying for the Argentine Grand Prix, third stage of the 2022 MotoGP, in sixth position.

The Frenchman closed the first free practice session with the second fastest time, while in FP2 he stopped in fourth position. The French driver seems to have a good pace, but in qualifying he was slowed down by Miller.

“On this track, if you don't get the lap on the first try, you're already losing because Turn 6 is a corner where you turn a lot. Jack Miller wasn't really on the racing line, but when someone comes up in fourth or fifth gear and you have someone next to the racing line, it's disturbing and to me it's not fair. And this is all. I have done my best. We know where we lost, but luckily I don't think I've ever braked later in Turn 5 in my life. And the second row is maybe not the best result I could have achieved today, but I'm still in a good position for the race. Our pace is not the best, but not bad, so I think we can fight for a great result.”
