MotoGP | Argentina GP Race: Vinales, “I'm not happy with the result, I wanted to try to win”

MotoGP Yamaha Movistar GP Argentina Race – Maverick Vinales crossed the finish line of the Argentine Grand Prix in fifth position. The Yamaha rider, after a troubled weekend, understood some things that could also be useful in the future. The word is up to him.

“I think today's race was very important to understand many things. I think we can only improve further now. I saw a lot of things that we can improve in the rain and also in the dry, so I'm quite happy and positive about it – said Maverick Vinales – I'm not happy with the result, I wanted to try to win. At the end of the race I had the pace to be in front, but nevertheless I saw many things that will be useful and for sure we will improve a lot. Especially in the rain we have to concentrate in another direction. Now we are on the safe side with the tyres, we have to try to be more aggressive.”

With this result Vinales moves up to fourth place in the championship standings, with 21 points.
