MotoGP | GP Aragon Race: Vinales, “I'm disappointed”[Video]
The Yamaha Spaniard finished the GP in tenth position
MotoGP Gp Aragon Yamaha Race – Maverick Vinales' Aragon GP was perhaps one of the most difficult since the Spaniard has been at Yamaha.
From the start of the weekend it was clear that the M1 was in great difficulty. The first 'beat' came already in qualifying when, after passing the Q1 trap, in the session that awarded pole, he was unable to do better than eleventh time, which later became fourteenth following a penalty.
The #25's race, given the major limitations, was very colorless and with a delay of 22 seconds from the top he finished in tenth position. Now he's off to the four Asian races and who knows if the miracle will arrive.
These are the words of Maverick Vinales: “I'm disappointed with how things are going. I go home, try to relax, and start thinking about the next race. The pace wasn't there, even though in FP4 with the same tires we used in the race we were running around 1'48s, but it wasn't possible in the race. I didn't feel great on the Buriram track in the pre-season tests, but I will do my best, as always, and get the maximum result.
