“It was a beautiful weekend, I enjoyed all the sessions and I had a good feeling throughout all the free practices. I had a good qualifying, I didn't start well, but then I got into a rhythm and moved forward. It's a shame to have wasted time with Quartararo and Nakagami otherwise I could have taken Miller too, but I don't think about it, I'm happy. We did an excellent job and it gives us confidence ahead of Misano. It's a starting point, we know that it won't be easy to be there in all the races, because we don't yet have the package to be able to do it. But here the boys did their best all weekend. I'm slowly getting to know MotoGP and how the category works. Misano is a race that I like a lot, but it is a particular track where the set up and how to manage the tire count, we don't think about that now and we enjoy the result. Here I managed to save the tires, and the guys worked very well and on the pace.”
