Statements Alex Marquez GP Aragon MotoGP Race

“I was hoping to be able to score some podiums in the dry, it was the goal at the start of the season. I had a lot of fun today. I pushed until the end because I already had the podium at Le Mans and therefore I wanted to win. I made a mistake at the end, but in the end I'm very happy with the race, I enjoyed it and that was important. At the Misano test we made an important step, we found a good set up and we improved. Both Nakagami and I improved, we understood how to ride it. To go fast you need to be a complete driver in all areas. This is why Marc makes so many mistakes in free practice, because he always looks for the limit. In my first year I am very happy to be on the podium with this bike, because it is difficult to ride but it has the potential to do well. We don't know how it will go in Valencia, here we knew it was good for my riding style and for Honda. Today I think I had more rubber at the end. Michelin told me I was one of the best at tire management. I hope to get a good result next week and then we'll think about Valencia. I don't know if with Marc on the track I would have improved sooner. For Honda, working with Marc would have been easier, because he knows the bike very well and knows where he needs to improve. With Marc it would have been a little easier because I would have had a point of reference, but I don't know."
