Statements Pit Beirer, Motorsports Director GasGas on MotoGP entry

“GasGas is a winning brand. He immediately reached an incredible level of performance in disciplines such as MXGP, supercross, enduro and rally, where we won Grand Prix, Main Events, world titles and overall trophies. It's a relatively new brand for us. We have new goals. We hope that fans who follow 'the red' will enjoy this story. Thanks to our main partner, the ASPAR team, in Moto3 and Moto2 we were able to see the bikes in the lead. It would be nice to see the same thing even in the most difficult class. I want to thank Hervé and the Tech3 team for being open and supporting this change by becoming the GasGas Factory Racing Team. We think it's exciting.”

Statements Hubert Trunkenpolz, member of the CMO board of directors on MotoGP GasGas entry

“Taking the GasGas name beyond its trials roots has truly been a success. After seeing the results obtained in Moto3 and Moto2, the next question was whether we could bring it to MotoGP. We are excited to take this step. It's a new journey and I know the brand will stand out straight away. The team, drivers and management will help GasGas make the leap in quality to the premier class. That's what we hope for!”
