Stefan Bradl was one of the riders most penalized by the red flag today in qualifying in Estoril, scene of the third race of the 2012 world championship. The German from Team LCR in fact had to "abort" his good lap and so will start from eleventh position. The word is up to him.

“We were unlucky today: without the red flag we would probably have started from seventh place. I'm a bit disappointed because we had done a good job with the technicians compared to yesterday when we were far from the leaders. Today the gap was reduced to one second but on the good lap I saw the red flag at the last corner and closed the throttle. Starting from 11th place will be more complicated at the start of the race but the right setup is there and I managed to adapt well to this track.”
