The fifth place obtained today at the end of the qualifying session does not totally satisfy Dani Pedrosa, who perhaps hoped to be able to do something more, but was partly held back by some vibrations that affected his bike while he was out with qualifying tires . All in all, however, the balance of the day is positive: they managed to find tires that should cover the entire race distance and maintain yesterday's fast pace. It will be a very tough competition as always, but Dani hopes to be able to achieve a good result.

“Like the free practice session this afternoon it went quite well and we were able to find a pretty good set-up and maintain the fast pace with the race tyres. Lap times are reasonably consistent and tire life seems ok even on this asphalt. Unfortunately in qualifying I wasn't strong today and I had some vibrations while doing my fast laps, so I'm not totally happy with the qualifying part of the session. Starting from fifth position doesn't mean I've made a disaster, but I was hoping for something more. However, tomorrow with a good start we will have a chance to fight among the leaders. It's a 28-lap race and there are also other riders with good pace, so I don't take anything for granted. Tomorrow will be very interesting and I hope to have a good race for myself and the team."
