Yesterday's race held on the Donington Park circuit (the tenth of the 2009 world championship) recorded a boom in TV ratings on Italia1. Andrea Dovizioso's victory and Valentino Rossi's subsequent comeback in the final part of the race kept 4.026.000 viewers glued to their televisions, with a 44.25% share of the commercial target. At 17.19pm, the last lap was followed by 4.505.000 viewers, equal to 49.6% share of the commercial target.

The 250 class also performed well, which was followed by 1.340.000 total viewers with a share of 13.38% of the commercial target (audiences growing compared to the 2008 British Grand Prix, when the 250 class race attracted 960.000 viewers with the 6.9% share of the commercial target); the 125 class was followed by 1.236.000 total viewers, with a share of 10.83% of the commercial target.

Brilliant performance also for the "Fuori Giri" column, which achieved a 19.69% share on the commercial target with 1.409.000 viewers, recording a peak of 2.838.000 viewers equal to a 35% share on the active public.
