This weekend the “Revival of the 200 Miglia” event that recalls one of the most famous races that were held on the Emilian track in the past. For the occasion, many past drivers arrived, always ready to open the door, including Loris Capirossi e Luca Cadalora. Seeing them around the track took us back in time about a decade, when the Italians dominated the world championship.

Loris rode a 2004 Ducati Desmosedici, the bike he rode in that MotoGP season, while Cadalora rode last year's Yamaha M1 800cc with the number 3 on for the occasion, his usual number when he raced in the world championship in the 90s.
In addition to the two of them, other famous drivers were also present on the track such as Freymond, Bonera, Lucchi, Gramigni and Baldé.

The event ended with a parade of historic racing Ducatis. the bikes that Borgo Panigale has brought to the track around the world were present, starting with the one ridden by Paul Smart, the first rider to have won the first edition of the Imola 200 Miglia with a twin-cylinder Ducati in 1972.
