Dani Pedrosa talked about the pre-season and the new season that is about to start. In fact, next March 23rd there will be the inaugural race of the 2014 world championship in Losail, where, as usual, it will be raced at night. The Repsol Honda Team rider is confident, the goal is to fight for victory at every Grand Prix. The word is up to him.

“The pre-season went very well, we did the tests and we always improved. Maybe with a little more time we could have worked more on some details, but the overall result satisfies me. My mechanics have worked hard all season and I would like to highlight their efforts and dedication. Physically I feel good and I'm looking forward to the start of the season with optimism. The first race is in Qatar and the aim is to fight for victory at every Grand Prix. We aim for the maximum, even if we are aware that the road to achieving this goal is difficult.”

The Spaniard also spoke about Ducati's decision to race in the Open category

“I believe there will be a change at Ducati this year. Maybe their entry into the Factory 2 category will help them get higher, but the fact is that at this time of year, everything is an unknown. Until the red lights go out on the Losail circuit, we won't really know everyone's positions.”

Pedorsa's minimum goal is to get ahead of Marquez at least now that Marq is not at 100%, and has missed the latest tests and has not trained as frequently as Dani.
