Dani Pedrosa underwent a visit to Dr. Xavier Mir yesterday to check the arm that was operated on before the Le Mans race and which also caused him some pain at Mugello. The Honda rider has been advised complete rest until the Catalunya Grand Prix, his home race. Here's what the Sabadell driver said.

“Yesterday I was in Barcelona to have my recently operated arm checked and we saw that it is quite swollen. The doctors said that to be in top shape for my home GP in Barcelona I absolutely need to rest him. I suffered in the race at Mugello, which is why in the end fourth place wasn't a bad result. I want to congratulate Marc and Jorge, who had a great race, but I can't wait to be fit to take part in the show and fight for victory too. At Mugello I also had the pleasure of receiving a visit from Fernando Alonso. It was an honor to have him in the garage. We talked about cars, motorbikes and bicycles, because he is a great cycling enthusiast, like me. We managed to see a stage of the Giro d'Italia together, the time trial.”

  • I wish you 100% recovery
I hope your team won't be offended if you have to stop for a few races, as happened in the past with your teammate Stoner

Well then let him rest and let him fully recover his strength, we want him in the positions he deserves, not like those of the last 6 races, COME ON DANI!

I advise all those who consider Dani a "nothing" and that his "arm" is just an excuse (this has also been written), to look for this article, read it, but above all WATCH (and try to put yourself in his shoes... Hoping that there is a shred of experience with motorbikes in your mind):

MotoGP, Pedrosa: stitches removed... from his arm

I'm writing something in capital letters, just to highlight it:

IF THE STITCHES/SCARS AFFECT YOU, DO NOT OPEN THE ITEM.
CONTAINS SOME IMAGES WHICH MAY BE STRONG FOR SOME.

    I REPEAT:
IF INJURIES ETC ETC TROUBLE YOU, DO NOT LOOK FOR THE ITEM.

    Forewarned is forearmed.

Dani is an excellent pilot but..., speaking as a layman... I believe that, between his extraterrestrial companion, misfortunes and various falls, eternal (unfortunately) second... he is not in the best position to demonstrate what he really is worth.

Like Jorge until the Mugello race: he was a shadow of himself.

I hope it's just a moment for Dani too but... I have my doubts...

Opinion from a layman but I think I deviate little from reality...

However, beyond everything I'm sorry if Dani gives it to him (doctors or distance from Marc in terms of the world championship).

He favors Vale and Jorge and, even though I'm a Vale fan, it's right that the 2 factory Yamahas sweat it out a bit.

The world championship is Marc's if he doesn't do anything stupid but second and third place are still up for grabs...

Even before I am a sports fan, I would like to see Dani back in fighting shape...
