Early departure – Decisions with immediate effect

If it is not possible to impose the ride through penalty during the race, the driver will be assessed a time penalty. It will be determined by the Race Direction and all information on the penalty will be made available to the team before the race in which the driver will serve the penalty. For practical reasons it was decided to remove the obligation to communicate the sanction within four rounds which must now be notified as quickly as possible.

Quick Restart – MotoGP Class

In MotoGP, concern has been expressed regarding the safety of returning to the pits during the 'quick restart' procedure, above all, regarding refueling in complete safety. As a result, when a race is stopped after completing a distance of less than three laps, the race will resume with one less lap than the initial laps.
