MotoGP – FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have made the final stages of the 2021 MotoGP season official.

In total the 2021 season will consist of 18 races with no further additions. Due to the pandemic, the Argentine GP will be missed and will return to the calendar next year. The second GP in Misano, scheduled for 22 to 24 October, will be called the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, with Nolan as the main sponsor of the event.

Furthermore, the dates of the first pre-season test for 2022 are now confirmed. The Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto will host a two-day official test for the MotoGP class on 18 and 19 November 2021.

Official on-track action will then resume with the Sepang Shakedown Test from 31 January 2022, as previously announced.
