MotoGP 2015 Mugello Ducati – Great show at Mugello, where the Italian Grand Prix was scheduled yesterday, the sixth stage of the 2015 world championship. Ducati was a great protagonist both in testing, where it obtained pole position, and in the race, where with Andrea Iannone it was climbed to the second step of the podium. However, Andrea Dovizioso's race was unlucky, forced to retire due to a technical problem. Here's what he said about it Claudio Domenicali (Chief Executive Officer of Ducati Motor Holding).

“It was certainly a beautiful Italian GP, with many fans in the stands and on the hills of Mugello. This is certainly a sign of the great vitality and passion that surrounds this sport, and we can only be happy about it. Obtaining pole position, with the absolute circuit record, and a fantastic second place in the race is further confirmation of the competitiveness of our bike and the great talent of an increasingly mature Andrea Iannone. A real shame, however, was the technical inconvenience that caused Dovizioso's retirement and which disturbed him from the first laps of the race, without which Andrea would certainly have been in the game, given the speed he had shown throughout the weekend. Michele Pirro's GP was also truly satisfying, sixth in qualifying and eighth in the race on his seasonal debut. Congratulations therefore to Gigi Dall'Igna and to all the guys at Ducati Corse, who are making this dream possible with their extraordinary commitment and dedication.”
