World championship leader Casey Stoner can't wait to test his Honda RC212V on the new asphalt of Indianapolis, scene of the twelfth stage of the 2011 world championship. The Australian had in fact struggled a lot with the Ducati in 2008 and 2010. Last year he slipped due to the loss of grip at the front of the Desmosedici but this year he is ready to do well and further increase his lead over Lorenzo, currently 32 points behind.

“In previous editions the Indy track had a lot of dips and was slightly dangerous, so I'm happy to come back and drive on the new asphalt. It will be nice to ride with the Honda because with the Ducati we struggled a lot to find the right setup on such a particular circuit. I only raced at Indy twice in 2008 and 2010. Last year I was competitive, but in the race I lost the front and crashed. I can't wait to ride on the new asphalt and work on the set up of our RC212V.”
