In the MotoGP paddock there are rumors about a possible return of Casey Stoner in MotoGP next year as wild cards, they become more and more insistent every day. According to insiders the Australian could run a couple of races, certainly including Phillip Island, the home race of driver #27, a circuit where he has been undefeated since 2007.

Interviewed by the MCN website on the issue, Stoner replied that now his only thought is to finish this season in the best possible way, although he did not rule out anything for the future: “Right now I'm just thinking about finishing this year and doing the best I can. I don't know what to say about the wild card hypothesis, I haven't thought about it until today. There is always a possibility, but now I'm just focused on doing the best this year. Racing at Phillip Island would attract a lot of fans, but for now there is nothing concrete about it. Sure in the future it would be fun to do, but maintaining the driving speed I have today could be a problem"

It would certainly bother everyone to find him at Phillip Island... especially if he still manages to win after a year of inactivity... and... he could really do it... at least in 2013...

trust me that in order to never see him again someone will pray for the end of the world on December 21st….

Seeing him again in 2013 as a wild card perhaps on a Ducati would be wonderful... too bad it will remain a dream...

But how... first you leave saying that the world that revolves around MotoGP sucks and then you come back as if nothing had happened?
    Long live consistency!!!

those who pick on stoners aren't motorcyclists,
I have always been a motorcyclist (I'm 56 years old)
I can't blame stoner like I didn't blame it when
Spencer stopped, unfortunately everyone and I mean everyone who rides motorbikes
they are passionate they are sorry, so if by chance it happened
the wild card next year I don't see anything wrong with it... on the contrary...
Maybe not everyone remembers when Kenny Roberts stopped
for two years he competed in the 200 miles as a former driver but the spectacle was not lacking on the banks of the Santerno (for the record, the races
    won both, 84-85)

Do you also remember your champion's clown acts? How long has it been since you saw one? there's always youtube and also enjoy the phenomenon that phenomenally performs a phenomenal overtaking at the corkscrew, also see Jerez's shoulder again... obviously all the other epochal victories... for heaven's sake 9 titles say that the handle was a great handle, a 'last thing...do you remember the fuss that Rossi raised at the corkscrew during the overtaking on stoner? all that dust that got on Stoner's visor... now he's eating it up at every race.
Sorry for the tone but for these subjects it is the only way…GO CASEY “ROLLINGTHUNDER” STONER

Guys, some advice, but forget it, let them talk, be patient for another 2 or 3 years and then they will all disappear together with their "phenomenon" as if nothing had happened (thank goodness!) and true motorcycling for true enthusiasts will return, which exists they were there before and they will be there after, after all, pay attention to it, you have certainly already done it, as they are always the first to start with the provocations or insults and if you then counter, we are the bad guys.
You don't see that they don't even realize the reality of the facts, how the reality of things is or even their behavior or way of doing things.
If they or their idol do it it's fine if others don't, I laugh at it.
So much so and for a long time that I have convinced myself that this is a lost war and it is a useless waste of time, don't they want to or don't they understand?
Never mind, it's worse for them, the important thing is that we understood it and then what changes us if we win or lose?
Do we get money in our pockets? No, nothing changes for us, they just make it a question of life and duty.
Imagine if he returned to viceroy, with immense help for him and unfairness for others on the part of his uncle, the rabble waking up and what we would have to hear, already when he gets the second with the flood it's a national victory let alone then.
Personally, it doesn't even matter to me because it has now been seen that Casey and Lorenzo destroy him with the same bike, in fact the "champion of champions" had declared that he would only go to Yamaha if Lorenzo left, because he knows very well that Lorenzo he would easily beat him again and in order not to completely lose face he had carefully looked after himself before returning to Yamaha.
If he returned to Honda, the chatter would disappear from the bike and the "doctor" worked a miracle, and not his uncle or the bridgestone nor?
Do you understand that it's useless?
It always turns the same way, you have to be patient a little longer.

Learn to write goat. "a council"?

        @fabry
before calling yourself a goat for what someone wrote, take a look in the dictionary...
“Council from consilium consulere also consiliare”
in short, where is ignorance at home in this case?
if you want to use the pocket one as a dictionary, that's fine but be aware that it is never complete

        @h954rr
unfortunately what you wrote is true... I don't doubt the World Cup wins but... there is always a but... it's like saying that Schumy is still the Schumy of the beginning of the century... in short, he was 10 years younger then which may not seem like it but in these fields is important

MMhhh I remember that at Laguna Seca the babanetto took them soundly even though Rossi had an inferior bike.

      1. tester said:

I don't remember Rossi ever having an inferior bike, on the contrary.... and then someone forgets that they rewrote the regulations for that overtaking. only for reds though….

  • H954RR said:

Thank you reader, kind and correct as always.
If someone calls me a "goat" that I meant in the post I wrote, instead of offending, it makes me happy.
    Hello.

PS thanks Fabry, as we wanted to demonstrate.

    2. reader said:

      thanks for the compliment h954rr
cold and lethal as always... unfortunately when the insults start from things like "consilio" I can't laugh and my arms fall from the false saccharine... not even after an entire life of studies and work can one say that they are wise and know, but he can only say that he regrets not being able to know everything

      1. Valentino said:

Sorry if I intrude, but why do you have to insult each other and bring everything back to the aim of expressing only negative feelings?
In my opinion all the runners (from the last in the ranking to the first) are exceptional. Then, as in everything, some people succeed better than others, otherwise why do rankings exist? I don't deny that I'm a huge fan of my namesake doctor but I would be a hypocrite if I said that stoner is a clown or someone who doesn't know how to ride a motorbike!
It seems right to me to say, or rather to affirm, that Stoner is a great rider and his battles with Rossi will remain forever in the history of motorcycling, like those he had with Lorenzo or others.
Why instead of exchanging quarrelsome jokes that have nothing compatible with sport, don't you remember the epic moments that happened?
Stoner retires? I too would choose not to risk my life if I had just had a child....
Rossi can't win anymore? It should have happened sooner or later….
But one thing is certain, both have entered the history of motorcycling and will remain there forever, your silly and insignificant disputes over who has it harder will very soon be erased from the ether and will have served no purpose other than making you feel bad and get angry!
        Think about it next time….
        I conclude with:
        Great Stoner!
        Great Vale!
        Great Lorenzo!
        Great Pedrosa!
        Great Dovi…..
        Great everyone!
        I forgot….. Great SIC!!!!!!!

        Good life to everyone.
