Cal Crutchlow, speaking about his only season aboard the Ducati MotoGP (next year he will race with the Honda Factory of Team LCR), underlined how Austin's crash, which occurred during the race, affected his season. That crash, which occurred after returning to the pits and changing tyres, heavily affected him both physically and mentally. Here's what he said about it to Autosport.

“I don't think everything depended on the bike. I'm the first to admit that I wasn't riding well. Austin's crash was a crucial point though, up until that moment I felt confident. I think it was probably one of the biggest crashes of my career. After that fall I was no longer willing to push and take risks as much as I had done until recently. It took some time for me to get back to pushing because I had no real feeling of understanding or of the bike. Once I found the feeling I went back to pushing.”

The British driver however underlined that there were problems in his garage: “Don't get me wrong, we had a lot of problems in the garage, even a lot of mechanical failures, but one at the end of the season we still managed to do well.”

It's not always good when you change bikes, he tried and it didn't work.
In Yamaha he could certainly have done better, but he would have earned less, now he just has to adapt to Honda.

It has nothing to do with Ronnie, but go read it
“MotoGP, Lorenzo: Marquez beat us all” on GPone.

Lorenzo says that Pol Espargarò's bike is "at most 2 tenths slower" than his and that he would regularly make the podium with Pol's bike and win a few races.
Not for something, just to tell you that you were wrong, on this topic too, as on all the others ;)

Guido Meda has moved to Sky. He will be deputy director for motor sports (F1 and MotoGP) and above all he will return to being the voice of MotoGP (together with Capirex. Although I hope for the historic Meda Reggiani couple). Better that way, frankly Zoran was a bit poor.
