MotoGP – Brno QP1 – Biaggi: "Usual problems, I'm also a little tired"

Brno, "his" Brno, where he won with all the brands and bikes available, except the Honda RC211V. His track, where he can best express his driving style, the desire to win, the soul of a driver who has never been tamed. Yet the Max Biaggi of Saturday 27 August 2005 seems to be the exact opposite of what we know. Tired, almost "stressed" by this situation, by these results that do not arrive with the motorbike he has always dreamed of, the official HRC RCV, with all the appropriate Repsol stickers. Wanted, loudly invoked, desired, he got it this year, but the total weapon rebelled against Biaggi's world dream. The post-qualifying words, after the tenth position achieved on the grid at 0 by poleman Gibernau, seem to come from another person, not from Max Biaggi, who said he was "tired", fed up with these problems that continue to arise ( only?) on RCV #833. Another Biaggi, new words, for the same complaints...

“Qualifying went badly, we have no chance of doing well. The problem is that every time we brake the bike jumps in front; It's the usual problem I've always had and there's no way we can change it or improve it much so we can't brake and enter corners hard (in short, chattering, ed.). The problems remain, I've had these problems since the beginning of the year and to tell the truth I'm also a bit tired of fighting with a bike that doesn't let me go any further. I am disappointed and demoralized because I have tried everything, to go faster, to take more risks but the problem remains too big and means that the other riders don't have it or it doesn't bother them, but in these conditions I gave the maximum and more cannot be done."
