GP Czech Republic MotoGP Suzuki – After the long summer break, the Hamamatsu house is ready to turn around the fortunes of a first half of the season that fell short of expectations. The next stop, the tenth of the 2017 MotoGP, will be Brno for the Czech Republic Grand Prix.

In the last race, things didn't go very well for Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins, but the new chassis used on that occasion gave positive feedback and important indications to the technicians, who took advantage of the break to work on some new features.

Both Suzuki riders spent the summer resting, without forgetting to train constantly.

These are the words of Andrea Iannone: “I'm happy to come back, I feel excited because I think that during the Sachsenring on Saturday we could have discovered something important for my GSX-RR, so I think I will be able to find a better feeling and ride with more confidence. I used this break to train and prepare a lot. I also rested mostly to calm my mind, but the main focus was physical training. Now I feel perfectly focused. I like the Brno circuit, so I'm happy to start from there again. In this second part of the championship we must achieve better results than in the first nine races. I know the whole team is eager to have some positive results including me. This allows me to feel comfortable returning to the paddock. We are about to begin a tough challenge. We need to improve our performances and our results, but I am sure that we have all the potential to succeed."

Teammate Alex Rins said: “This year's holiday was very different to the ones I was used to, just as the Championship was very unusual for me. The various injuries I suffered after the end of 2016 marked and changed my entire calendar, so it also influenced the program for this summer break. I tried to work as hard as possible to fully recover my arm and ankle injuries, as well as get into good shape, I really enjoyed this training period. I also managed to do a few rides on the motorbike as well as on the bike and in the gym."
